COURSE DETAILS
The Bachelor of Education is a 2 year course. The course structured into 4 semesters, is designed to equip future teachers with essential pedagogical skills through a blend of theoretical learning, practical exposure, and reflective practice.
The 1st semester lays the foundation by focusing on micro-teaching and psychological practices, helping students develop key teaching techniques, lesson planning, and classroom management skills.
In the 2nd semester, students participate in stray lessons and field visits, providing practical exposure to real classrooms and fostering adaptability and communication skills.
The 3rd semester deepens this experience through block teaching, where students take on sustained teaching responsibilities and refine their lesson delivery and assessment skills.
The 4th semester culminates with an intensive internship, allowing prospective teachers to apply their learning in full-time teaching roles, plan annual lessons, and engage with school communities.
Throughout the course, students also participate in co-curricular activities such as NSS, social activities and sports, promoting holistic development by building leadership, teamwork, and community engagement skills. This comprehensive approach ensures that trainees emerge as confident, adaptable, and reflective educators ready to meet the challenges of diverse educational environments.
